I destroyed an engine after fitment of a GRS Evo3 intercooler, WOT in 5th showing a few psi extra.....hello Det....BOOM went the engine.
The increase in boost could only have been as a direct result of the more efficient IC, nothing else was touched.
Not knowing any better at the time I didnt think to have the car set up after fitment.
My advise to anyone fitting a new IC, exhaust or other parts that may atribute to change in preassure would be to have the car checked & set up if necessary.
