Awesome replies people, I had a nice in depth discussion with the missus and we are going to get weighed and everything tomorrow, then we have set up for things like the packed lunch instead of pre-packed crap, we have arranged a routine around the shifts (yeah Dojj, she is either early or late shifts) and I have to look further into the weight watchers, cos this points system sounds good being able to treat yourslef every now and then.
