here are some snaps of a MK5 Beam, this is what Im using on my FRST.

you will notice the angle section is thicker, gusset ties are fitted to the end of the angle also.

I decided against fitting any brackets to use my original arb fromt he FRST beam, you do ned some flex in the beam or the car will skip around far tooo much.
