I think that's a bit strong to be honest. I do think the comparison was way off the mark, but I think it would be wrong to delete the thread. It is an issue that I think does need to be discussed, I think things like this are very often avoided because they are so controversial. But you can't just try and hide from it.

Could someone explain this 'Grade' thing, as it's something I've never heard of before, wondered what it actually meant.

What does annoy me about the whole thing is the ITV/Sun take on it all, this bandwagon they try to get everyone on, as with everything, throwing in plenty of adjectives, 'monstrous', 'vulgar', 'horrific', all that kind of thing. Yes, some of the things that get done are pretty bad, but this kind of reporting doesn't really help anything. They try to make out like it's something new, that's not happened before, when in reality, it's been going on forever, that winds me up. It embodies everything that is awful about journalism in this world.

I think it is all being misrepresented a little, no matter how awful it is, certain areas of the media would have you believe that there is a paedophile round every corner, watching every child in the UK, whereas in reality, I can't see that it has changed much for a very long time, apart from the impact the internet has had. But I'm sure there are probably far worse things on the net as well, but that doesn't matter, because paedophiles are the 'in' target for the media, so that's what we have rammed down our throats day in day out.

That's what annoys me about it all anyway
