Default Auxillary Belt, Tensioner, Crank-shaft Pulley

Not sure, i've only ever changed all of the parts as this is the recognised ford repair for the warranty claim.

You could try it though, if it works, you've saved yourself a few quid!

i attempted this today. thought i would renew all three, belt, pulley & tension. reason is seen as how i have it apart, may as well. the cars done 56,000 and the belt does look like it is on it's last legs. pulley is fcuked. tensioner? dunno, maybe it's ok but i've bought a new one anyway.

didn't appriciate how difficult it would be. how did you release tension on the belt? can't get any of my tools in to turn the tensioner clock-wise.

how about removing the tensioner? none of my allen keys will fit in the space provided?

didn't realise that the belt won't come off without undoing the tensioner.

taking the pulley of was a piece of piss, then i noticed the crank shaft oil-seal was leaking....have you ever wished you hadn't started a job
