i'd rather work with carbs, just because its easier to work on myself and cheaper (not needing mapping sensors etc)

So, im starting with a Standard 2.0 pinto engine, wanting to stay with carbs, what are the first steps you guys would reccomend for tuning this engine.
twim webers, exhaust manifold (will the rs2000 one fit to a capri??)
cam... what else is there to do?
