I don't think anyone is doubting the benefit of roller-followers, Evo's use them after all, but the compatibility with non-roller-follower camshafts is potentially disastrous for the engine.

I think the seller tripped over them and thought they would be a good idea and bought a few sets. He is now prepared to say anything to get rid of them.
