The all should more resposive than a normally set up T4 BUT there are ways and means to improve response on a T4.
My T4 is as resposive as a T38 is and Im sure Mike R's T4 was even more responsive again.
Im trying another type of T4 on my car as we speak so should have results from that very soon.
if you bring the t04 turbo in early say it's making boost @ 3500k then the turbo @ 7k would be running out of puff
the t04 only has a 3.5k power band where the gt30 has a 5k power band

Thats not correct Marco.
Mines makes full 2.6 bar at 4k and power is still increasing at 8k rev limiter
TBH mate I couldn't see how that was right, I've seen enough dyno plots to show that doesn't totally ring true.
2.6 bar @ 4k must be ballistic, I so don't need that in a mk2 escort lol
A T4 can surely be altered in quite a few ways which is obviously how you and others get the results.
