I would always look at it that an equivalent engine, but with the same power as the NOS equipped one, would be the "better" engine (for obvious reasons), but at the end of the day, 200mph is 200mph

Yes me too... thats why Simons 200mph run impressed me sooo much and also Andy Barnes 9.6 WITHOUT NOS
I don't think its cheating, BUT I would MUCH MUCH MUCH rather have any engine that doesn't need it.
It takes NOTHING away from your achievment though Rod and as you say there is fair amount of Skill in getting it working properly
