I got the sack for being off work 1 day and legally i hadeant a leg to stand on due to being employed less than 1 yr. The shift pattern i worked was a wierd one and i had 2 days off (fri & mon) and was die back on the tue but was still ill with the flu (yes real flu NOT man flu ) and when i went back in on the wed they took me into office and sent me packing that day but had to finish my shift first and it was a week before xmas aswell and it was a very reputable company aswell Rolls Royce

It all depends on the guys situation to be honest m8
