Well I keep it brief he's been off with work related depression, currently on antidepressants and has been deemed unfit to work by both the works doctor and his own GP, now they are pushing for a return to work date even though his shrink has upped his medication as it wasnt working and he still thinks he's unfit for work.

Whats the situation if the antidepressants dont bring him back up to a level to return to work? do they pay you off or just straight sack? not sure how they will deal with it as the depression is work related.

Its a big company and he's been there 4 or 5 years, he's currently on full sick pay.
