the sound is one of 2 things,

the duel mass flywheel or the bottom pully.

put the aux belt off and cheak out the bottom pully first, they are in 2 parts held togther with rubber and the rubber strches/ breaks up and the 2 meatel bit bang togther or the pully rubs on the timing belt cover.

if that looks ok, pull out the tdc sensor and see if it is covered in metal filings, if so its the duel mass flywheel.
