Henry was great yes,but last year he didn't show much heart and sat on the side lines with a slight strain here and there....you wouldn't see a Gerrard etc sitting out of games with a "slight knock"...and Henry was meant to be the captain...so much for leading by example.
I'm sure he will do well at Barca though the guy is super class,i'm just suprised they didn't ask for Eto in exchange,as he wants 2 leave(so reports say)...then again, maybe Wenger wants Eto at Barca!!! I think Wenger will be off soon as well, which is a FAR bigger problem then Henry leaving. I hope Van persie and co step up to the plate now and show there is life after Henry. Still its a shame the Premiership have lost such a great player, but everything ends eventually.
He suffers/suffered with sciatic nerve problem, with leads to injuries one after the other.
Im gutted about it. Henry has been the best forward in the premiership by a long way, scored goals, assisted, 2 Championship medals and 4 F.A Cup medals!
The only problem is now we have to buy a new forward... But none will be at henry's standard.
