I just reconned a series 2 rst engine with new mains,big ends and rings and the oil pump isnt that old but I only have 13psi at idle when hot.I just wish the oil pressure was higher because thats one of the reasons I decided to do a rebuild.Its done 3000 miles since I built it and it runs sweet but the pressure (or lack of it) is buggin me.What could be wrong?one of you guys must know.It couldnt be anything in the head could it?Oh the oil I am using is castrol rs 10-60w.pretty thick stuff.Cheers for reading everyone.
