its cheap as fook my cousin built his own house did most off the timber work himself plumbing and roof work then got mates in to do the other stuff.lived in it for 8 years sold it for over double what he spent and is now building the second one more or less mortgage free
even people who use a contractor to build two houses were only ending up with maybe 30grand mortgages its whore o cheap the only coont is getting land and planning permision and somtimes if u get a plot in a sceem of houses they will only let u use there builders and stuf like that.
