That may be the case for a few of the thick chavs out there, but a lot of them are so crap and have so little motivation to do anything properly that I think eventually in the long run the factories requiring the cheap labour would be setup in Poland/other eastern European countries where labour is cheaper.

There are loads of easily available jobs out there working on £5 an hour or so if you want them, whenever I have required some temporary employment I have looked in the paper one day and started work the next. The problem for this countries unemployed is that they can't be arsed to work, not that they can't get any jobs.

So in this case I would rather to Poles come here and earn money here, spend their earnings in shops in the UK and obviously give money back to the UK in taxes.
