We have loads where i work, maybe 60% polish. Some are ok some are proper gob shites.

As said above, when they first arrived they worked like fook. now, they are the same as everyone else. As for wages, they are on the same as me BUT pay no tax or national insurance for 2 years. They are also being treated better than the English contractors (me!)

My main problem with them is, as quoted by my manager "we wont take you on as a permy as we have a ready supply of workers for the foreseeable future" Get in.

I just see them as a short term solution for companys etc, but there will be big problems in the future......
