Just to warn everyone really. My alternator gave up the ghost beginning of last week so I got a new/recon one from a local motor factors, it was a QX Components one and all I can say is......what a pile of fucking shite!! The S2 chewed 3 in one week, yes 3!!!!! I could not beleive it, first one just wouldn't charge the battery and the light stayed on, second one stopped charging after 20 miles or so, and 3rd one the bearings whent inside it after 1 minute of idling!!!!! Luckily my local motor factors were good about it and got me a new one every time.

The one I got has lasted a week now, it's a QH one and seems good! Just to warn you all really!
