The engine was fine until I decided to change the clutch. I dropped the engine out and did a cleen up of the engine bay. Why did i change things?

I am not getting any spark on my S1.
The engine was running fine then the other day went to start it and it was running lumpy so I turned it off. I then tryed starting it again and got no spark. I know this as I have a clear dizzy cap.

I have checked the usual earths and leads but get good results.

I thought it was the dizzy but I got a scope on the leads and I was getting a trigger of about 5 volts, so went to the coil. I put a bulb on the green lead as suggested on other posts, It was on to start with but then when the engine was cranked it flashed but it was a dimmed flash. I then put the scope on the coil and agian I was getting a change on the green wire of about 1 volt.

I think it may be the ecu but not sure.

Can anyone help? Please!
I bought this as a run arround and my dad's getting pissed its not running!
