I lined the rotor arm up with the scribe mark on the dizzy before tightening the bolt. As you slip the dizzy in the block the whole thing turns itself as the cogs bite (but it dosent mention this in the book) then i just turned it a little to align the rotor and scribe mark. Im not sure which cylinder it was pointing at( the first one i think)
Does this sound ok 'cos i must be doing something wrong. Ive had it 11 years and dying to get in back on the road.
