yeah, it realy is very very similar in its action to full race plated mate

if anything they a little more antisocial as you can (from the cars ive been in with em) hear the plates clonking away too on the v.low speed stuff.

main difference (ie advantage of the proper diff) isnt on that slow speed stuff, its when actually giving it some.

a full race plated they generally call a 2way as its locked almost totally on accell and decel, but when coasting it unlocks, which as you know is handy!

but with a welder they jokingy called 3way, as in they obv never unlock even when off the throttle, meaning you cant help save yourself from a spin by letting off the gas by letting off to unlock the diff, like you could with a race plated one.

its not a huge hinderance, esp if you not used to a 2way, but obv its nice.

its just something nice i cant afford

about uprated VCs, ive never had one, but they seem ok, only issue with them ive noticed from a mate having one, is they kinda universally increase the lock, on, off, and coasting, so to get to a locking level as good as a race 2way its pretty much locked full on like a welder.

but can imagine a VC just a bit more uprated would be a godsend

wish i had experience of all this when i still had my 3dr!
