Called down to my local scrappy saturday and found a really solid mk3 bonus, robbed of all i could on the day. Thing is i've got the tailgate off it with the keys, but want to get the full lock set out, how do you remove the ignition key barrel. I've been told you just turn it to first position and then with a small screwdriver just push up a retaing clip and it just slides out... is that right??? i wanna call down on my work break and get the rest if poss + whatever else i can salvage.
