well here goes!

i saw a shell advertised two years ago in the yellow paper about 2 1/2 years ago, it was almost my birthday, so i thought 'sod it', its my dream car so i'm having it!

it was a white motorsport shell with loads of spares (nearly enough to build the whole car into 2wd).

here's a pic of what it did look like:



it sat in my garage for a year untouched, simply because i couldn't justify getting all of the stuff out from around it, pushing it out and working on it for a short while only to have the hassle of putting it away again!

the next summer, i suddenly got inspiration again! i wanted a colour change! so off it went to the bodyshop to have a respray for a tidy £600!





as soon as it was done, it went back into my garage again to hardly see the light of day for yet another year. but in the meantime, i managed to pick up one thing i was after for it... a WRC spoiler!





the next year came around and i finally managed to get a workshop! so the escort went there and work slowly but surely started. i bought a few more body parts to complete 'the look'. carbon kevlar front wings and front bumper and a fibreglass grille.



the workshop had to go not long after i got it, but i now have a house with a secure garden, so the escort has come back home. i must have been good last year, as these came for christmas!



during january, i've decided to get my bits sprayed, so here's the first lot that have been finished and returned to me.














thats it for now, hopefully i'll be able to get some bits done over the weekend and update soon!
