Default 306 d turbos

Not a ford but im sure some people know about them

Thinking of getting one next month hopefully as my first car, would like some opinions on them if you have owned one, what to look out for ect.

I'll be doing a 50mile round trip to work 4-5 days a week when i pass my test, currently use the train which is shit and too expensive. Which is why im thinking of getting one.

Will have around £1800 to spend on one

I've had a quote of £1350 to insure as a named driver which i can live with for a year

Also seen on stu's website.... for £250

Example:
Peugeot 306 D Turbo (intercooled)
This vehicle gains approximately 25 Bhp and 31 Ftlb of torque, giving this great little car hot hatch performance.

This is on autotrader for £1700;

Manual, 90,000 miles, P REG, MET BLUE, New Reconditioned Engine, New Sports Suspension (all round), under 90K genuine mileage, 2 Female Owners. Excellent Bodywork, Rust free. Lowered, 17in Alloys w/Low Profile Tyres, Tinted Windows, CD Player. Interior in good condition, clean throughout. Full Service History, all paperwork present from recent owner. EXCELLENT CAR, owner has relocated hence sale. £1,750. ono

Thanks for any advice

Chris
