Steve,
often enough its the cable between the sensor and the inner wing that dies
due to the wheel movement.

As a last resort you could try fixing it by replacing the wire as close to the
sensor as possible but you must make sure to use robust screened cable
and make sure its firmly secured both ends and is long enough.


Not ideal but cheap to fix.
