Hi in order to fit my Stack tacho, I have to remove the clocks from my 3 door Sierra. Are there any tricks so as not to damage the speedo? I previously tried taking the clocks off, and the only thing stopping me was the connection tube/cable to the tacho and to the speedo.

Are there any special tricks to make sure I dont damage the speedo side? What sort of connection is the tacho side? Is it only a vaccum hose?
