My mum lives next door......
I was round there the other day the convo went a little like this
Mum; "there is a young couple moved in next door"
Me; "oh right......"
mum; "yeah the other day there was a car just like yours on the drive, exactly like yours it was big spoiler and everything"
me; (thinking she MUST be mistaken, as she has only ever seen my car 2 or 3 times)" Oh really... You sure?"
mum; "yeah definitely... had Escort Cosworth written on the back"
Me; (still think she is mistaken and the writing was big vinyl letters on a chavved up 1.3, but thought I would humour her) "Oh right what colour was it? ... Blue?"
Mum; "yeah Blue"... "exactly like yours, they got a Rover too... The bloke with the Cosworth dont live there though just visits"
Me; (still think she is mistaken) "Oh right .... small world ay, one of the rarest cars around and two turn up in the very same close"
................ I'll be sure to let her know she was right
