QUOTE .Could also be the main wiring loom plugs giving false readings from the sensors to the ECU if these haven't had any attention.... If when you have the engine running you lift these gently up and down (small movements) and it causes the problem, then check in there for corrosion or broken wires - they really need cutting out and being soldered & heat shruk wrapped.

I would *guess* the oil pressure is falling off as the engine is trying to cut. I assume it has correct oil levels etc?

thanks mate,we checked all the wires, and the levels first,thanks for the advice regarding the sensors,
we fitted a k+n induction kit last week, and the cars done about 30 miles since then, and was all good, its also the small turbo engine if this matters to anyone else,
