No your not mate. You simply dont have the instructions that the mapper gave. Amal restrictors, peak boost and held boost are all down to the mapper as the amal has its own MAP.

From your post earlier I realised that I was wrong I am used to just fitting a chip and it works and controls the boost but I'm in a different world here now thankfully.

I now realise and know that I have to speak to the people that produced the chip and get it set-up to what they say. I made the mistake if thinking that you fitted the chip & actuator and bingo

Thanks to everyone for their help, I haven't been on the cossie scene very long and I'm learning

My plan was/is to get the car close to what the originators of the chip recommend then get it checked out before monstering the car.
