hold up cos obviously your reading the wrong post... when did i SAY that oasis should play first at wembley?........ I DIDNT!!!

oasis might not be able to write a supersonic and live forever now but those songs are written when your on the dole with dreams of rock stars, not sat in a mansion in hampstead wondering wether you can be arsed to go on tour anymore, and its the same as every other band out there, you might find that if muse get to the top then the songs you come to love from them start to slide as the desire to write them becomes less important.

live you'll find it hard to beat a band like oasis, only band ive seen get close was the foo fighters which i think are an amazing band, IN MY OPINION they are a great band, and concert sales for oasis havent faded away, there still playing to packed out stadiums all over the world. and oasis started in 91, i know this as they used to play the a local pub at the bottom of my road.

how you can compare muse to metallica amazes me it really does
metallica are a heavy metal band and as you say they were good, not so much now tho, i liked the st anger song they did a couple of years back but the album werent great, muse dont even come close musically.

every band starts out at the bottom so how you can think that muse are the only band to rough it in a transit van doing the pub circuit, the mind boggles. like most bands out there, they got lucky, oasis, the stones, etc were all lucky as its tough to get a recording contract. BUT you have to have the songs.

definitely maybe is a great album and set oasis up for life but if you took definitely maybe out of the equation (sp) and then with the acception of be here now and standing on the shoulder of giants still have better albums than most. thats the only problem oasis have got, people comparing every other album they do to definitely maybe. but im not trying to big oasis up in any way as i dont need to.

and to what mattj said bout floyd reforming, yes that would have been the perfect gig but you got more chance of the beatles re-forming with original members
another band i THINK would have been a top drawer would have been the stone roses but again its never gonna happen.

and its not a fact that a band are shit cos i say so but my opinion is fact and to ME they are shit and will never amount to nothing, THATS MY OPINION WHICH ISNT FICTIONAL, ITS FACT!!! and i will never change the way i think about muse unless they bring a song out that i THINK is good, the maybe id buy a ticket and go to a gig

you think the sun shines out of muse's arse and i dont its as simple as that, maybe ive got greater taste in music and maybe you have, who fuckin cares, lets be honest. music is there to be liked or disliked i know that im not gonna go watch muse play live or any other band on the opinion of you or others and you probably wouldnt go see a band that ive recommended, its just one of those things
