Peugeot GTI Autosport club’s car of the year 2005.
205’s might not take your fancy, but when you consider this car has a 2.0 turbo engine from an ultra rare 405 t16 things might change.
The car itself is an immaculate last of the line L reg 1.9 GTI 8valve with 5 previous keepers before myself.
With receipts to show that over £30,000 has been spent on the car in the last five years, of which has been to improve the power, handling and safety of the car. This really is a road legal race car that has done a 12.2 sqm at Santa Pod and has been timed doing 0-100 mph in just 9.6 seconds.

Recent full top end re-build using all genuine Peugeot parts.
Turbo set-up:
VAT 25 RS Turbo charger
2 actuators due to the variable internals – boosts at 2.2 BAR (32 PSI) and holds 1.9 BAR (29 PSI) all the way to the 7200rpm rev limiter.
In car adjustable boost.
ECU:
The ECU has been re-mapped by Chip Wizards (standard chip can be supplied).
Exhaust:
The exhaust system on the car is a work of art, 3.5 inch bore from turbo to back box, sounds gorgeous.. not too loud.
Transmission:
Peugeot 306 GTI Gearbox
‘ZF’ Diff
Helix 4 paddle cerra-metalic clutch (done less than 500 miles)
Lightened and balanced flywheel which was re-skimmed when the clutch was fitted.
The standard 205 drive shafts have been replaced with 309 shafts.
A full quick shift system has been installed.
Suspension:
Poly bushes all round
Group N Engine and gearbox mounts
Rose jointed lower wishbones
GAZ Coil-overs
TAS Excentric top mounts
As you can imagine the car handles as well as it goes!
Brakes:
Uprated to Tarox 6 pot front callipers using 285mm disks with mintex pads and braided brake lines.
Interior:
The car has been completely stripped just leaving the dashboard which as been uprated with aftermarket dial faces, boost guage and momo steering wheel.
The interior of the car has been painted gloss back.
Fitted with a safety devices C12 6 Point roll cage in satin black.
2 Carbon fibre bucket seats with OMP 3” 4 Point harnesses.
The battery has been re-located to behind the passenger seat allowing room in the engine bay for the induction kit.
Wheels and Tyres:
Peugeot 205 1.9 alloy wheels painted metallic grey with a polished rim, fitted with the very sticky Toyo Proxes R888 Tyres.
Bodywork:
The body work on the car is in outstanding condition with absolutely no signs of any rot or rust anywhere. There are no dents or impressions in the paint.
The car has a great amount of history with it and pictures from its past in various different guises can be supplied.
The first person to see this car with genuine interests will without at doubt take the car.
The car also has a private registration which reads L 2.0 GTI the actual registration is L20 GTL – this is included in the sale.

The first run through is through the gears, the second run shows 55-130 in 6th gear at all times in less than 10 seconds on road tyres in the wet.
