no you still retain the std distributor. im thinking about fitting one of these to my car from jamie ( jam-sport ). my plan was to go for a cossie weber-marelli conversion but the high cost & unreliability of using secondhand ecu's etc put me off, as ive found out not all senors for the cossie set up are available from ford ( brand new ) & to top it off gotech as all the features of some of the top-level ecu's & again sensibly priced
