i have 2 minor faults which i wanna diagnose and repair before my mot next week.

fault 1- idles betweem 1500 and 2000rpm, all the time, if you unplug the iscv it idles normally?

will clean the iscv tomorrow, but will it need replacing if so...where from and how much?

fault 2- there is a spot at around 3000 rpm (only really notice it in fifth, 80mph motorway cruising) where the engine splutters, misses, and jerks etc.

if this is the tps, how do i check it, what pins on the ecu are they, coloured wires etc. is it a 0-5v sensor?

any other sugestions as to what could be causing these problems appreciated, if not above
