He opened a dispute and he's adamant I sent him a broken unit. Sorry for the odd text, but its a cut and paste job. Start from the bottom.

You know what, I don't care anymore. I know I never ripped you off. You've not managed to prove to
me at all that it wasn't damaged in your possession. Do whatever the hell you like, I've had enough
of some stranger telling me I'm a liar and a cheat. As for the 100% feedback loss, big deal, people
reading this can see my other feedback comments and make up their own mind. I've got nothing to hide.
Report this to Ebay if you wish, I'll say the same things to them as I have to you.

Well the way i see it you have ripped me off, it was not damaged while in my possession or the
dealership, because of what you have done i have had to purchase another car stereo, which cost a
hell of a lot of money. I hope you fell satisfied with yourself that you have lost your 100% feedback
score and sucessfuly scammed someone. This is now going to be reported to ebay

Hi, no I won't be refunding you as I said below as the damage to the unit was not caused by myself
and I can't be responsible for a third party damaging it once it has left me. Thanks, Matt.

It's not clear as to whether or not you are going to refund me the money or not in the last message
you sent, could you let me know thank you
collierm2005 29-Sep-06 at 15:50:33 BST
Fine, glad that is cleared up, you never said previously which car it was fitted to, hence the
confusion. As for cutting losses, maybe for you, not for me. I refund you £72, have to pay £75 to
have it repaired then auction it again. I don't think so. Without unutterable proof of the failure
, we are at a stalemate. I'm sorry, but I know it worked and I don't see why I should pay for
potentially a third party breaking something that I sold in good working order.

First off the Ford Galaxy 2001 has an entirely different connection set up it runs off a type on din
system not an iso connector, the iso connector cost £19.95 an fitting and wiring cost £30.00 totaling
£49.95 as i told you in earlier communication, okay i'll compromise and cut my loses so send me the
£72.00 that i paid for the unit. Otherwise this dispute could go on forever. Many thanks Stefan

My reasons for using paypal are my own. As for the refund, initially you asked for the refund including
the postage, so don't try saying you now want the money minus the postage costs. Initially, this is
what you asked for. As far as I knew, the unit was in good working order when it was sent to you.
I then get a message saying its broken after you have attempted to have it fitted. Also, I don't
understand why you had the car rewired as its a standard ISO connector block, who's conning who?

if i had sent out an item that later turned out to be faulty, i eould have immediatly issued a full
refund minus the postage, so i don't see the problem you have refunding the money, why would i want
the unit back if it's faulty, is that why you don't use paypal because they can refund the money by
there own means?
collierm2005 26-Sep-06 at 15:23:47 BST
As it stands, you cannot prove that the shop you had fit the unit did not blow it and are trying to
hide the failure. Why should I refund you and be out of pocket myself when the cause of the failure
can't be determined. I sold the unit in good faith and I don't state a returns policy as I'm not a
business. I've communicated and been fair with you every step of the way and you still think I'm a
fraud. I'm sorry you feel that way, but I won't issue the refund.
collierm2005 26-Sep-06 at 15:20:44 BST
I said I would refund you if the unit could be proved to have been faulty when I shipped it to you.
I know that the unit worked when I sent it as it was only taken out of my car prior to sending it and
it had been working fine for over 12 months. I, at my own cost, had an independent engineers report
done to try and determine the cause of the failure. Why would I do that if I knew it was faulty when
I sent it to you? I've offered to send this to you again at my cost and you have not replied.

Item Significantly Not As Described: Pioneer DEH-P7400MP MP3/CD Headunit DAB Control RDS (#120019229413)
Payment Method: Personal Cheque
Payment Date: 21-Aug-2006
Additional Details: i had to wait first of all over 2 weeks for it, when i received it i had it proffesionaly fitted by
an authorised pioneer dealer, which cost me £49.99, which they then informed me the unit is faulty,
all the display works fine but there is no sound, they then told me that if i wanted to refit the old
unit back it cost an additional £49.99. I contacted collierm2005 he said send me the unit back and
i'll refund you, i returned it, which he has now said i damaged it and refused to refund me.
