Got the unit back today, and surprise surprise, it appears to have been damaged to to being wired incorrectly. So have sent the following message.

Hi

Got the engineers report back today and the output is broken, due to a power spike. The engineer has quoted approximately £75 to repair the unit. I did ask him if its possible to break this in transit, and he assured me it had been broken due to the unit being wired incorrectly.

As I know for definite that the unit worked when I sent it, I can only assume that the shop you had fit the unit have broken it. I can send the unit back to, but I'm sorry, I won't be refunding you as the unit was broken after it left me. This has already cost me money in terms of having it checked and it will again to post out to you, but I'll shoulder this as I know this has been an inconvenience to you also.

Please let me know what you wish to do.

Best Regards

Matt
