Hate to burst your bubble there buddy but the Cosworths were not legal to be imported to the states, except for the small turbo Escorts and you need a licensed importer and about 10 grand to get it road legal. You guys over there don't know how well you have it.

Since you already have an XR4Ti you can do what I and most of us have done and convert your XR to cossie spec. Most people stop at the body kit but some have went all the way. The car in my sig was an '87 XR4ti auto when I bought it, now it's a 4x4 cossie powered 3dr replica. If you don't want the hassle of doing a conversion you can always get a Mustang SVO, they were powered by the same SOHC 2.3 in the XR but came intercooled and 205BHP from the factory, they also came with 4 wheel vented disc brake and Koni adjustable suspension. The Saleens, Cobras, Roush and Steeda cars are also nice but expensive.
