You know how you take the pic with a digital camera then there is a delay for what seems like ages before an image is captured, what is that about? and can I stop it doing that?
Im off to spectate at a rally down the borders way at the weekend but when I take pics of fast moving stuff ie rally cars at high speed you have to guess when it will be in the view finder when I press the button I end up with a pic of a boot or just the road

Any advice?
