What did your e-bay advert say pal...how did you word it ? If you were expecting the same terms as a shop I wouldn't buy anything privately on e-bay...

If you have yourself covered in the advert and you were sure it worked perfectly when it left I would not refund him....unless he could prove he didn't damage the unit...
