you'r saying HT interference is making the unit power down.....

It dosen't power down all togheter, the display goes blank but the light is still on. This is caused by HT interference, so you need the either place the sensor wire as far away from the HT leads as possible or shield it. I have the same gauge and had the same problem, when I routed the sensor wire differently, it worked without going blank.

Well if that fixed your problem then fairplay, but the words "cheap" and "crap" spring to mind
