My Focus has just been into Ford for it's service and i'm told the front brake pads are 75% worn. They quoted me £90 for a set, so I told them where to go and said i'd sort it myself. Checked on Ebay for a set and keep seeing a brand called Mintex. The pads are well priced at £25ish inc delivery. Ferodo pads are £33 at halfords. I don't really need to uprate the brakes for Greenstuff's etc, as it's only a TDCi Sport which I use for work.

Are Mintex pads ok, or are there others for similar money you would recommend?
