OK just want to check something out with you guys.
Going by the Ford workshop manual.. When removing the front diff you take the cover off and remove the circlip so you can pull the driveshafts out ('kin messy job

)
To then remove the diff off the sump you undo the bolts etc and with the gearbox off does it:- A. just pull off, or B. the workshop manual says about removing two circlips in a fucker of a position on the inlet side of the engine.
I've heard conflicting theories and TBH I don't want to fuck about with those circlips again

maybe its just wishful thinking
