I wasn't referring to their bombing campaign, but things like bulldozing peoples homes as a punishment. Shooting the child sheltering in his fathers arms, killing the British peace worker, and so many other examples including the sinking of the Greenpeace ship in New Zealand. The Rainbow Warrior was a REAL threat to their security, loaded with beardy hippies in sandals - crikey, someone might have mistaken them for a whole load of Christs!

They were given their country, then fought a war in 1967 and occupied the west bank. Not many other occupying forces have stayed that long apart perhaps from the allies in Germany and Japan!

Fair point about the Berlin wall, but the Nazis created enclosed ghettos in lots of cities, like Warsaw.
