Looking for a new ISP, and want a faster line than what I have (512k

) but I want to stick with a truen uncapped service, without all this "fair usuage policy" bollocks....
So far the best seems to be Demon - says up to 8mbps and completely unmetered and uncapped, and I can't find a mention of a fair usuage policy on their site either;
- Fast connection. Up to 8Mbps downstream* and 448kbps upstream.
- Unlimited email addresses. Give each member of the family their own email address.
- FREE Demon spam filtering on all your email. An automated filtering system removes the hassle of dealing with junk mail.
- Unlimited access with no restrictions. Our unlimited usage policy means you don’t have to worry about how long you stay online or how much you download.
- Peace of mind. Our Internet specialists provide 24/7 email, telephone and live Text Chat support. (Calls charged 10p a minute from a standard BT line; other networks and mobiles may vary.)
and;
- High-speed connection. Demon Home broadband is up to 160 times* faster than dial-up.
- Flexible access. Surf the internet and use a telephone or fax line simultaneously.
- Fixed costs. Predictable, set monthly rental charges without any variations or surprise bills.
- No Limits. Demon Home is an unmetered service with no download restrictions or limits to the time you spend online.
- Easy to install. No need for an engineer to visit your home and new connections are simple to set up by yourself
All for £19.99 a month....
But what I want to know, is who is on Demon and can tell me about how good/bad their service is, how reliable it is, how much downtime there may be, is it really uncapped? Is there really no fair usuage policy?
