At the other end of summer I'll be likely getting hold of a mk2 escort and I was thinking it'd help keep the costs down by getting hold of some random 1.3 and swapping the engine later. I want to drop any original mk2 engine in ot primarily for insurance purposes but I was thinking of a 2.0 but I wasn't sure if mountings were the same and stuff like that or if I'd be better off sticking to a 1.6 xflow. I'd like a 2.0 but since I'm gonna be largely relying on help from friends since I'm still in the process of learning all this stuff, I didn't want to ask too much. I've got all summer to ponder and learn but I might as well get started in the right direction.
