at the moment, i have spent the past hour doing this
i'm using excell to tot up the drivers hours at work, but for some unknown reason, certain sheets won't do the normal "drag the cell down/across/up and the same formula is copied over to get the same results" thing
ok, that sounds crap, her's another example
i've got the formula of =Sum(b3:e3) on one sheet
and if i were to highlight the cell with that formula and get the little cross and drag it down one cell, the formula would change from +SUM(b4:e4)
and so on and forth until the number just went up as high as i wanted them to go
on another sheet, this doesn't happen and i can't understand why, all i've done is copied the normal format of drivers/days worked/hours etc over and some of them have been fine and osme of them are behaving like total crap
do i need to start a new sheet from scratch and do it all over again?
i wanted to sort all this out tonight so i could spend tomorrow doing the last 5 months worth of sheets, but to no avail
anyone who can shed some light on this please help
