Don't know what Polish teenagers are like soon after they pass their test but some British guys (including me) are out to impress in some form or another such as nice car, driving ability (or lack of), ICE, styling (also the same over here). When I had learnt how to do that for the junction at the end of my road which was the only place I needed to do it (40mph straight road on a t-junction facing a field), I showed mum how to do it to see if it would help her as she used to struggle with it in rush hour.

So no its not a normal way of driving anymore and was ever only a way of getting out of the junction at the end of my road. Now I have power steering, there is no need
