i think i know the prob, caqn anybody tell me how many turns a fuel regulater should have to be set about right

4wd fuel regulator , its been fucked about with, does anybody know if i turn alan key screw all the way clockwise or anticlockwise how many turns back or forward i need to turn it to be about right for normal use
