Had somthing similar when I was hunting a FRST for my bro. We went to look at a so called minter up for £3000 and when we got ther eit had Venoms on it with cheap shite tyres, the rims were kurbed. The engine bay was a mess and the wiring had been butchered and it looked like it had been painted by a drunken chimp using a bicycle pump. I told him I thought the car was worth barely £700 as it stood as it needed a whole load doing. The guy got upset and said no way. 2 days later I got a call saying we could have it for £900
. We declined though as we'd found a lovely clean car not 3 miles from the advertised car at a garage
