I have a stud and nut kit fitted in my Escort Cossie. The stud is torqued down to 15 lb/ft into the block, and then the nut is torqued down to 75 ft/lb. The question is, could the stud come loose in the block when undoing the nuts to remove the head? (Because some of mine were loose when I took the head off, and I didn't put the studs in.)

The other question is, can you reuse a WRC 4 layer gasket? Mines only been on for about 10 miles, and I had to lift the head to inspect the interior, after a recent rebuild. It’s a bit expensive to bin, and buy another one at £325 at gasket.
