Default s***ey cvh rattles - HELP

HI to all ford fanantics & boost junkies alike. I've got a mk4 scort 3i efi, blowered up, running frst efi, 165 superchips, biege inj., piper 285T, new stage 2 blower running 12psi, bottom end from my old S2, and from day dot the f***in thing rattles it's nuts off. Small ends were checked when built - ok, new tappets, new rocker arms & inserts, lapped valves, you name it. Now the noise/ rattle only occurs under load (hard boost, 3k rpm & above) & coming off hard boost, coasting along is fine - no rattles. It can't be pre-ignition cause the beige's chuck loads in, it runs rich - you can smell it plus the lump would of popped by now. It can't be small ends cause we checked them for play & it's only 2,000 or so miles since, 500 of which under 3k rpm. It can't be oil press. cause we gauged that & that's all hunky dory, & i replaced the tappets BUT it is very much like a tappet rattle (i think). So if any1 can shed any light on this situation it would be much appriciated & you would be deemed a star (in my veiw anyway). Think i've covered everything i did there. I've got a couple 2L zetec lumps which i know is the way forward over the s***ey cvh but until i get time to do that i'd like to blat & boost the blower around without the embarresment of soundin like a john deer chugin up the road rather than a turbo purrin . Thanks in advance to any1 who can help. Happy boostin. Paul.
